How To Brew Our Vegan Cacao Husk Tea
Steep 1 tablespoon for 4 minutes (depending on desired strength) at 100°C.
Cacao Husk Tea Nutrition
Made from the fibre filled outer shells of cacao beans, vegan cacao husk tea creates a taste very similar to chocolate when steeped in water. Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it offers many health benefits as well. By using it as the main ingredient for tea, it is a sustainable and waste-reducing product.
Husk tea contains no sugar or additives, giving it a completely natural flavour that does not affect blood sugar levels, perfect for diabetics. Cacao Husk Tea is also packed with antioxidants which are able to reduce damage caused by inflammation.
As vegan cacao is one of the highest plant based sources of magnesium, the Cacao Husk Tea releases the minerals as well. Cacao husks can be easily steeped in freshly boiled water, for five minutes or more.
